This page provides information about files and different mediums of file storage. File storage in an important aspect of computing because it allows the user to be able to save important documents that can be accessed, shared and edited at a later time. It is also important to understand the different types of storage options that are available, including their strengths and weaknesses, so that an informed choice can be made for the types of storage mediums you think would serve your needs best. Most of the content below is material that was created for the class taught on this subject on 10/19/07.
